Standard code of rules
Also known as the SCOR and SCORY
We have two standard codes of rules which are reviewed and revised by our member clubs every year at our AGM:
Adults rules
(SCOR)
Juniors rules
(SCORY)
Codes of conduct:
The Grassroots Code
Respect The Standard and make football better for everyone.
The Grassroots Code includes Standards of Behaviour which ensure a positive football environment for all. They’re very clear, so everyone can understand and remember them:
- Enjoy The Game – we’re here to enjoy ourselves… win, lose or draw.
- Give Respect – we always treat others as we’d like to be treated.
- Be Inclusive – we embrace our differences… football is a game for everyone.
- Work Together – we’re a team, on and off the pitch.
- Play Safe – we all have a role in safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults.
Together, these Standards of Behaviour promote a positive, inclusive and respectful football experience for everyone.
Respect Codes of Conduct
Laws of the Game (LoTG)
Within the League, we follow the Standard LoTG with a few exceptions and clarifications depending on the division, age or ability.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is a fundamental aspect of our role – and the role of our clubs.
Collectively we have an ongoing duty to ensure the game is a safe, positive and enjoyable experience for our players, their families, our coaches, our referees and everyone else in our League.
By working together, we are making safeguarding everyone’s responsibility.
